Lutein PLUS is a complex antioxidant product designed to protect eye health. Macular degeneration is one of the disease conditions, the most significant causes of which are aging and family history, as well as the harmful effects of the environment, which in combination with free radicals leads to eye damage.
Lutein is an antioxidant that helps effectively protect the eyes from harmful UV rays and prevents oxidative processes occurring in the body, protecting cells and tissues from the harmful effects of free radicals.
Other important components needed for the eye macula (the part of the eye that is responsible for visual acuity) are zeaxanthin and vitamin A. These ingredients, in combination with vitamin C and bilberry extract, can slow down eye aging and reduce the risk of developing age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
